Here is where we will come to a consensus on the initial terms that will be included in CogPO. Our starting point are the terms associated with the BrainMap Taxonomy.

In creating an ontology of cognitive paradigms we aim to decompose each Condition into:

• Stimulus (role)
  • Stimulus Modality (quality)
  • Stimulus Type (class)
  • Stimulus Role (quality?)
• Response (role)
  • Covert Response (class?)
  • Overt Response (class?)
    • Response Modality (class)
    • Response Type (class)
• Instructions (information-bearing entity?)

Each of these terms is categorized by a set of classes, which will increase in size as CogPO evolves.
